Roxborough, Philadelphia's Preferred Chiropractor, Dr. Lenny Roberts

Dr. Lenny Roberts, Roxborough Chiropractor

Dr. Lenny Roberts obtained his Doctorate degree from Life University in Marietta, GA with honors in March 2001. He graduated from Rowan University with honors with a BS in Biology in 1997. He has volunteered his time and served on the Board of Directors at the YMCA, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, and has coached little league baseball. Dr. Roberts is also the founder of the non-profit group FANS (Fights Autism Now Supporters), a non profit organization that provides treatment to local children with autism.

At Rowan University, Dr. Roberts was a member of the 1993 Rowan football team that went to the Division III National Championships. After undergoing six knee operations, his football-playing days were over, but Dr. Roberts continued his athletic endeavors through amateur boxing (winning a Silver medal in the 1999 Georgia Games), the San Diego Marathon in 2006, and the Philadelphia Triathlon in 2008.

In his practice, Dr. Roberts utilizes cutting-edge technology and expertise in extremity adjusting (wrists, feet and shoulder problems) in combination with Active Release Technique, a patented soft tissue treatment that helps athletes recover faster from injuries and improve performance through increased range of motion. Dr. Roberts also utilizes these as a chiropractic consultant for the Philadelphia 76ers. He has been with the team since 2009.

Dr. Roberts is extremely passionate about his profession and has a penchant for caring for families. Practicing in Roxborough has been a dream-come-true since it provides him the opportunity to educate his community on the benefits of chiropractic. "I know first-hand what incredible difference chiropractic has made in my own life. I know that athletes, children, and adults alike can benefit greatly from chiropractic. My mission is to educate as many people as I can about these benefits.”

Dr. Roberts holds weekly orientations on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm in the office to educate the community on chiropractic and wellness care. During the orientation, new practice members, or anyone interested in learning more about the benefits of chiropractic, can discover more about the following:

  • The role and relationship of the spine and nervous system
  • The benefits of having optimum posture
  • How chiropractic can help you lead an active, healthy life

The orientation is offered as a free service.

If you are interested in attending, please call the office in advance at (215) 487-2500 to reserve your seat.

Dr. Lenny Asks some important questions of interest to Roxborough residents - Chiropractor Roxborough Dr. Lenny Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Roxborough and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic practice member knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
